In times of increasing energy scarcity and the need for CO2 neutrality, we must undertake profound modifications in the operation and process management of energy and process engineering plants that require high process temperatures. We are investigating high-temperature processes using advanced experimental and numerical methods. In doing so, we contribute to improving the productivity and energy efficiency of facilities for thermal biomass and residual waste utilization, cement and steel production, mineral processing, and other thermochemical processes, such as battery recycling.
