CFD-Programs Fluent, CFX, OpenFOAM
The LEAT uses the CFD programs Ansys Fluent and CFX as well as the open-source package OpenFOAM.
For these programs, a variety of extensions and subroutines have been developed, such as for the description of the flight behavior and burnup of substitute fuels or calcination in cement plants.
Fluent and CFX can be coupled with the in-house DEM-Code.
